For example, the ambient temperature around the engine is high, and there are many corrosive gases and liquids. Therefore, high temperature, oil, vibration and friction resistant conductors must be used; The wires on the luggage compartment cover shall keep their elasticity at low temperature, so cold elastic wires shall be selected to ensure their normal operation; The wire on the automatic transmission must be resistant to high temperature and hydraulic fluid, and its temperature stability is good; Shielded wires shall be used for weak signal sensors, such as knock sensor, crankshaft position sensor, ABS wheel speed sensor, etc; The requirements for bending resistance of door inner wires are high.

The wires commonly used in automobile harnesses usually use stranded copper wires with PVC insulation. The wire used for the harness shall have the characteristics of temperature resistance, oil resistance, abrasion resistance, waterproof, anti-corrosion, oxidation resistance, flame retardancy, etc.
